My experience so far so trying to figure out what are the best settings
I've tried a mixture of settings to get the best use of my watch, however still have yet to find great settings

I have LTE s3 with its own number amd shares the s8plus number.

I've turned on remote to access phone when Not in Bluetooth range

Bluetooth and WiFi off
If I just use LTE the LTE works well outdoors but as soon as i go inside most homes I loose LTE and get the message "emergency Calls only"
LTE is very good on phone

If I turn Bluetooth on s3 i get some but not all texts and calls
Bluetooth seems to randomly disconnect though even if I'm sitting in same room

So what would the best settings be

Bluetooth auto, always on
LTE always on or auto

I think there must be some differences between the LTE versions of the watch and the bluetooth only, because I have seen a number of complaints from people who complain of random bluetooth disconnects and they all seem to have the LTE version of the watch. I have the S3 classic and I never have any random disconnects unless I go too far away from the phone. As far as settings I leave everything on including always on display and I typically end the day at around 55% or so.

My settings: bluetooth OFF, wifi OFF, mobile networks ALWAYS ON
Thus, the watch is kept in remote connection mode with the phone. This allows calls and messages to be passed thru. Which isn't the case in standalone mode.
