does it update automatically

[me just saying]

My debit card is about to expired and just received a new one. Does samsung pay automatically update the expiration date? I noticed google pay did but I cannot find the debit card info in samsung pay to either update or verify it has changed. I use samsung pay on my watch, not the phone so I am using the wearable app on the phone.

any help would be appreciated.

just found out you have to delete the card and add the new one. at least I found out I do not have to call the bank any more to get verified so it should make things easier when I get my new phone next week (I hope)
