Crackling/buzzing in the speakers when video calling.

I have had the tablet a bit over a month now and I hadn't used it for video calling until now. When playing videos and stuff it's awesome, but when I used Hangouts the crackling and buzzing started. Even if I initiated the call.
Would I have to return the tablet and get a replacement or is there something i can do?
I tried Skype as well and it just for worse with that.
