Removing Operator Setting Xperia 1 ii

Does anyone have experience removing operator branding/settings from an Xperia 1 ii?

I have used Xerifirm to download a new firmware build. However, I cannot get the Flash tool to them send it to the phone. I am using Windows 10 btw.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your .NET framework and Java Runtime are up to date or the Flash Tool won't work.

Thank you for your response. That's all updated and working AOK. Still get errors during the update process. Have you have any 1st hand direct expreince of doing this task?
