Help! Phone drops incoming texts randomly!

My girlfriend has an iphone and about one out of every 20 texts I don't receive. She shows me on her phone that she sent them.

I'm using an Xperia Acro S with Textra ... I tried googling if it was a textra issue but I can't find anyone having that problem with textra.

Sometimes when she sends a text I'll get a repeat of the previous text instead - and sometimes I won't get anything at all.

I guess it could be an iphone outgoing issue, but somehow I doubt it as iphone is very streamlined.

I have no idea but sometimes my carrier also does the same thing. I'm using whatsapp now instead of sms
