No Update! Help

Guys, my aunt has a Z2 and I have a Z1 but she has gotten the update and I'm still waiting for it. She has 5.0.2 and we both live in Pakistan .

It's possible your carrier hasn't released the Z1 update yet. Each one has to be written separately. They may work on newer devices first.

Guys I'm not getting update on my Xperia Z1 in Pakistan while my aunt has already gotten it on her Z2,
Both were supposed to get the update at the same time

Have you talked to the carrier? Also, do you get over the air updates? Have you had it check manually?

Updates that are OTA generally go out in waves from a carrier, so everyone doesn't get it at the same time.

No I don't have a carrier specific phone.
It's the international version.
