Email questions - post Froyo

i have a couple questions about email on the Epic after the Froyo update. First, when reading an email, i no longer have the buttons (Reply, Delete, etc.) on the screen, i have to click menu and then those options. It's a waste of time. i asked this question in an earlier post that no one responded to, but now i have another question.

Second question, how do you copy and paste text from an email? I cannot figure out how to highlight text.

It's just the way the new GMail is setup, same of all devices.

Menu key>Select text

thanks for the reply, that sucks about the new email setup. I do not see the "Select Text" option when i click on Menu.
