Can't use camera when on call sprint

I have the sprint note 3 and when I am using speaker phone on note 3, I can't use the camera whereas a friend has the t mobile note 3 and can. Why???

That is normal with Sprint ... you can't do anything while on a call!

I can't use the camera while on a call but I can surf if I'm on Wi-Fi at the same time as the call, but not 3g.

You're right, it makes no sense at all. But sprint has indeed been doing this on their phones for awhile.

Yep. They did it when I had my HTC One with them... Was the dumbest thing ever. I can confirm my T-Mobile Note 3 does allow me to use the camera whenever.
