Installation was a blast and in less than 15 minutes I was running ICS after setup and configurations, I had Been using it for a couple of hours now and I feel it a little bit laggy on the response of the touchscreen and some apps have this lag in response. Anyone else have this issue.
Still I'm happy for the update

I noticed the lag too, didnt notice the apps, but when I click on the unlock button. It takes a few secs for the screen to come on.
i wouldn't worry at this point, the original news story has been pulled down..so whatever update was initially pushed is very likely no longer waiting in the wings

I'll still need it to work when the update is available, won't I?
Not much of a conspiracy theorist but the fact that some were able to upgrade via Kies gives credibility to AC prior write up. I have a feeling the idea was to release the update right about the time SGS III is released.
more than likely yes, as i get the feeling it won't be an OTA update
Got it to work by reinstalling Kies again. Said my firmware is up to date with 2.3.6. Guess this was a false alarm. Hopefully soon though. Thanks for the help.
I haven't paid much attention to what changes we can expect with such a heavy skin in TouchWiz. Can anyone layout what we might expect to be different?
