A plugging-in poser

Lately, when I have been connecting my phone to a standard wall charger, a screen comes up asking me to choose between Voice Command and Car Dashboard Pro. If I choose one, nothing happens.

Does anyone know 1) what the phone wants to do, and B) how do I stop it?

It probably thinks it's been plugged into a car dock. You may have some crud on the connector. I've seen some reports that cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a small brush helps.

That appeared to have been the problem. I caught it putting something like "Car Mode Enabled" in the notifications and quickly pulling it out. Cleaning the charger has made it go away.
