Question about SGS3

For the purpose of rooting this phone, is the U.S. version and the International version, exactly the same? Thanks.

Nope. Very different, they use different cpus.

No.. all carriers are different.. always make sure whatever mod you make to the phone is listed as AT&T or you'll be left with a brick.

I have AT&T, and will be upgrading to the SGS3. I plan on rooting it, using my MacBook Pro. The video i saw shows how to do this, but they are using the International model. I believe that it's the i9300? Never rooted before, so i was just checking. Thanks for the quick reply.
