VM indicator wont go away.

So this the only issue I am having with this otherwise excellent device. I cant get the VM logo to go away. It was there when I first powered on the device for the first time and I thought it would go away once I setup VM but its still there. I have rebooted and I even went to the extreme of factory resetting. Any ideas on how to get rid of it??

Check your messages and delete the message or see if its in the notification bar on top of the screen.

send yourself a new voice mail. then listen to it (should be the only one) and hit 7 for delete. it will clear it up

Oh VOICE MAIL. Why not try calling your voice mail and deleting all of the messages in there?

my phone had the same issue so just leave a fresh voice mail and then delete it
