alarm won't go off!!!

I never had this problem with my S2 and Note 2. But now with the S4, it's happened quite often! I use AlarmDroid app as I like the features. But it's been unreliable. It doesn't go off like 50% of the times. I don't have task killer so that's not the problem. Anyone experiencing the same problem with 3rd party alarm apps?? Any idea why or how to fix it?

I am now, but I like the features on AlarmDroid.
