Default Email App Not Cionnecting to Internet

I have the default Email app that came on the phone and then added the gmail and yahoo!mail apps. I prefer the default email app to view my yahoo!mail because it allows me a list view from which I can check and delete multiple emails without having open each individual email prior to deleting it.

I've had the Infuse for months now and all of a sudden the default email gives me a message that says that it is "unable to connect server"in a yellow pop up banner. Connection to a server is specific to just this program, every other one can connect. I've tried refreshing and I've looked through the settings and there doesn't appear to be anything relevant to this issue to change or check.

Any suggestions or solutions?

have you tried deleting the account and setting it up again? have you double checked that the server settings are correct? those are the first two things that come to mind for me.
