LTE to HSPA+ to LTE

I had a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket with LTE and an ATT LTE plan. I then moved to a Nexus 4 with HSPA+ only. I am assuming if I now put the sim back into an LTE phone now that I will again get LTE speeds again since ATT still sees it as an LTE plan?

Technically there is no difference in the data plans for AT&T. The only thing that matters is if the phone is able to get LTE. Basically if the phone you have your SIM in is HSPA capable only that's what it will use... Or it will use LTE if the phone is capable of that.
