But you're better off buying a phone from craigslist or ebay and saving your upgrade. Even though the phones can be around $500 or so

I guess it has something to do with how long you've been with AT&T and what your total amount per month your bill is. All I know is I am eligible at the end of May. That's can't get here soon enough.
