Yesterday was a rough day. I was on my phone quite a bit, then around 5:45 pm, I was rear-ended. I was stopped at a red light, and it is estimated he was traveling at 40 mph at impact. So I was brought to the hospital by ambulance.

I looked at the battery I had left, and upon arrival to the hospital, I had 45% left. I set power saving mode at 50%. At the hospital, I was in constant communication with family and friends and responding to Facebook posts. Approximately two hours of continuous phone usage, I went from 45% to 36%. I couldn't believe the power saving technology in the G3. I was convinced 3,000 mAh was insufficient. I was wrong.

With all that going on I'm surprised you paid attention to it.

Hope all is well with you and good luck with the upcoming insurance debacle. Speaking of phones...was he texting at the time?

Thanks guys. Yes, Power Saving can be turned on at 50%.

Here is where it got strange at the accident scene. I exited my vehicle first, and my back and neck were screwed. So after waiting 30 seconds for him to exit his car, I thought maybe he was hurt and couldn't get out of his car. When he did exit, his cellphone was glued to his ear and he was laughing hysterically. Never said a word to me or asked if I was okay. His behavior was so strange I meant to tell the cop to check for sobriety but I was rushed into the ambulance.

I have a lawyer who is just a beast in the courtroom. 40 mph rear end impact can cause spinal injuries. I was lucky, and my attorney estimates a settlement no less than $50K.
