Utnick ur a **** ha-ha. Nand is working perfect I flashed to froyo then restored back down and reflashed the update on top its working perfect... anddddddddd no more random reboots the old update had...


4G isn't around my area so I'm not worried

Sorry for my n00bness... but, can you enlighten me as to what is a deodexed or a odexed rom, and how would I know if the ROM I am running is deodexed? (I am running OMJ's 1.4)

I'm no genius when it comes to all this stuff either, but I think it has something to do with dex files being optimized so that certain things run smoother.

My Battery is better... And a bunch of other people report the Same... Check your settings...

Damn. I went thru the 25 Battery Tips from GoodandEvo.net when i first got this running, all my power saving settings were intact.

IDK dude but its 3:30 pm here my phone has been off the charger since 6:30 am and im at 80% battery with decent use...

Have you been on WiFi or 3G during this time?

(in 5 hours, I'm down from 100% to 52% on 3G that varies from 2 to 4 bars)

Tried Calkulin's rooted version of 1.47.651.1 again with the new Radio & WiMax update (2.05.00.06.10 full img), but same ol' craps still happening. ROM breaks NAND everytime and 4G still doesn't work even after flashing both the radio and wimax update files.

I'm so over this stupid update.

There has been a new development over at XDA:

How to start over: From original stock to rooted latest OTA, no adb needed! - xda-developers

I have NOT attempted this yet but have been following the Radio/WiMax issue for several days. This method appears to work but is hit or miss depending on the conditions of your phone at the time its attempted.

For those who applied the OTA and lost root this does NOT seem to work. For others that had the bad MAC address problem it may. Just wanted to link this for everyone here.

BTW....check this method out as it appears to be a brand new way to gain root. I was (and still sort of am) a little skeptical but if it works as the OP states its kinda' cool.

Do you have the task killer set to auto kill or are you just killing everything whenever you feel like it? What are the apps that you don't kill?

I kill whenever i want... And I kill ALLLLLLL !!!!!!

I also use Auto Memory... Set to aggressive... I dont like anything open...

I think I want to use this ROM, but I'm not for sure with some of the issues with the radios....I have to do a little more reading over at XDA. I'm just getting confused on which radios are working with which ROM, because they keep talking about different ROMs. But it almost sounds like there is a full radio image that works with this ROM.
