1.98.709.5 update

Today (November 1 2016) I received the 1.98.709.5 update on my unlocked HTC 10, just a mere few days after I received 1.96.709.5.This update still show security patch on September, though...

I'm in the US and running 1.96.617.20 which contains October patch.
No prompt for 1.98.709.5.

Maybe my 1.98 update is for the Taiwanese market. I said maybe because the only way to do the initial setup of my HTC10 was in Chinese language (very hard for me, but thanks to the Google Translator from another smarrtphone I was able to take photos and translate the screens). Another hint is that I bought it on a local ebay equivalent, with the warning that it would not be able to use 4G, only H+... The weird thing is the fact that this 1.98 version still is in September security patch, but others already have 1.96 with October patch...

Mine is at that version as well and is an unlocked US unit. Between regions and carriers, the version numbering seems a bit of a lottery.

I just received 1.98.709.5 Update but after installing still on 01/09 security patch. unlocked bought in HK, now in Eastern Europe.
