10,000 mAh battery needs to be standard in smart phones

I got a droid turbo and it's supposedly way thicker but it's not as thick as an s5 that has a case on it. And it has 3900 battery that lasts 48 hours. I use it heavy and it's never below 35% at end of day. Most time just have to put it on charger every other night.

I beg your pardon? You still use medieval ounces when referring to a 21st century high-tech gadget...?

I will lay odds that there are more people in the US who can more easily grasp the concept of something weighing "7 - 8 ozs" then 200 - 225 grams. :)

That's irrelevant.
FYI: this is a global forum! And the US population is only 4% of the global population! It's high time the US got with the (metric) program like the other 6.5 billion people on this planet! It would also help prevent crashing expensive space ships on Mars. :-D

There are no rules on what to use. :).

It's all about what people want....there are phones that do have more capacity and they are obviously more for you...while other people might want something smaller or not as heavy...the reason there are so many different company's making smart phones is so there is variety and people can decide exactly what they want...
you can always bring a external battery to charge your phone wherever you want too..

I have the droid turbo. It advertises two days of battery life per charge. I can tell you from experience this is false. I suppose if you kept it locked with stock apps in your pocket and made no calls it would last two days but who is gonna do that.

It does last through one full day just fine though. I don't have to charge until I go to bed.

The turbo charger is nice too for days that I use it more than normal.

I wear mine out. I use all kinds of different non stock apps and am on the phone talking most of day while simultaneously using the wifi looking something up while on Bluetooth. And Mine has never been below 35% at night.
