$100 for 64gb of storage is robbery

The price gouge is the 150 dollar they added to the pixel 3 5.5 inch. if it was 700 for the 64 gb p3 and 850 for 256 I would have been more than fine. but 800 for 64 and 900 for 128 I dunno I am really second guessing my preorder.

You should cancel your order if it is making you second guess. Moto makes a good line that is cheaper.

These prices reflect the top tier of Samsung and iPhone and meet industry standards.

The extra memory cost to them is maybe 2% of that.

True, but if they priced phones strictly according to materials cost, the most expensive phones wouldn't top $300-400, and that's including the top iPhone models. But there are other factors that go into cost, R&D, assembly costs, marketing, logistics, etc. All that before you consider making a profit. And R&D would be pretty high on a device like the Pixels that run a lot off of software development, that doesn't happen for free.
