$100 off Samsung GT 10.1 at Staples

Son of a... ;-) Where was this coupon when I bought my 10.1 the day it launched!? ;-) Thx for sharing, that'll make a boat load of people happy.

Wow paid $499 for mine on amazon no tax free shipping. I could save 60bucks oh well im still happy...grats guys

I went to buy a Tab 10.1 32gb and they were OOS... She said it would be no problem to order one and I would still get to use my Coupon and Free Ship to house!! Can't Wait till Friday!!!

Just used it!! You have to buy in store, but worth it! I was considering the Asus Transformer as it'd be $300 (~$325 with Tax) but the Samsung 10.1 is just the best Android Tablet out there.

At this price, I'm seiously thinking about getting another one(returned the first for an iPad 2) and having the best of Honeycomb tabs to go along with my iPad2. That's quite a discount!

Best Buy allowed me to price match since i was still in my return period.

Really?? That's awesome news! I'm still in my return period for both my Thrive and GT! Reading thier policy it doesn't seem like they would honor other store's coupons, just print advertised prices.

Based on your experience I'll go try, I'll report back later today on my result.

Here's Best Buy's policy from their site:

"Best Buy will match the price if you find a lower price on an identical available product at a local retail competitor's store, a local Best Buy Retail Store or BestBuy.com. Simply let us know when you are making your purchase or during the return and exchange period.

The Guarantee does not apply to: Our competitors' website prices, offers that include financing, bundling of items, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, competitors' service prices, items that are advertised as limited-quantity, out of stock, open-box, clearance, refurbished/used items, BestBuy.com Midnight Sale and special hour sale events, BestBuy.com Outlet Center and Marketplace items, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving."

I should mention that they were hesitant but did it anyway because of my existing return period. Good Luck!

I spent 30 minutes talking with multiple reps at the counter, their eventual response... "we'll honor price match at our discretion, we won't match this price."

So I called corporate, after 30 min on the phone with her the response I got was "staples is not our competitor, so we won't match them."

I asked to be escalated to her superior, she said I could call back. I asked why I couldn't be transferred and she promptly hung up on me.

I cannot believe how bad I was treated... I'm a rz silver member (meaning I spend more than $2500 a tear there) needless to say I'm now boycotting best buy. The funny thing was I was going to take my refund money and buy a $600 nikkon 3100...

I'm disgusted.

Order it online from Staples and once you get it go into the store and have them refund you back the $100 coupon since it is within the 14 day return.

This is what the manager of a local Staples told my co-worker to do. They had 15 Galaxy Tab 10.1's in the store but were told to not sell them and send them back to the warehouse along with any other tablets they had in stock due to over use of the coupon. This is what the manager told my co-worker.

I tried Best Buy and in store they contradicted their phone people and refused to honor the coupon. At Staples I also ran into the nonsense with them pulling all the good tablets off the shelves - way to build up customers guys...

At this point I think I am off the tablet market for a while. They don't do anything my lappy can't and so I need the cost to be low or for them to offer a compelling advantage.

Got mine today, but had to drive around west la before i found a staples that would sell to me. All of them had in stock, but one if them claimed a recall? Think they were just hassling me, since the next one sold it to me no problem. Oh well, his loss.

Had to try two stores to find one in stock (even though the web site said they had stock, the guy said that includes "damaged goods"). Selling my ipad2 now. Yay!

I shouldn't have to. Best Buy advertises their price match and they should honor that...

Update on my issue. After speaking with the head store manager he said he would call Staples and verify the deal with them directly, if they verified it he would price match for me. When he called me back he said Staples verified the price and that he would price match it, but because they don't have any tablets in stock he wouldn't price match it. I reminded him that I could go into the store and order one, thus getting their pricing. He wouldn't budge.

So basically if you're shopping at Best Buy just remember they have the price match guarantee*

*If you spend several hours convincing them that per their policy they should price match, followed by 8 different employees telling you 8 different reasons why they won't.

Sorry if I'm being overly bitter about this, if they could give me a straight answer I wouldn't be. I don't like that they can essentially, and seemingly arbitrarily apply a policy that they wrote up. But hey, I'm just a customer, what do I know?
