Apparently the decision isn't hanging on some "bug", but whether the release of the Galaxy Nexus is going to greatly reduce the sales of the Razr/Rezound (which many of us have speculated for a long time).
If that's true, I think it is rather hilarious, considering the marketing jobs they did with these two phones. The Razr marketing seemed decent at best. The Rezound marketing was atrocious. I have only seen one commercial for it ever. If you're not gonna advertise the hell out of a new phone, why bother worrying about its sales?
i completely disagree. the rzr has been blasted all over tv. i have seen 3 different rezound commercials just tonight in the past 2 hours. the one with the guy walking while everything is "blowing up" the guy in the cab when the cabs dash turns into the studio. one more i actually cant remember what in the heck it was.
you know it is hard to accurately depict what is being advertised while you are glued to a computer screen desperately seeking info on a phones release!!!
damn you vzw
Apple handles their own advertisements.
Lets be realistic, k....
When does Verizon get shipments? If they do not ship over the weekend, if stores do not see stock on Friday (tomorrow), it won't be for sale on Monday.
....Again, you're basing this off of what Verizon normally does. Has any of this been normal to you? Not to mention I don't think anyone has ruled out the "web only" thing initially, which would solve this whole stock issue. You can constantly try to find holes in everything that isn't confirmed (which is why it says "unconfirmed" in the first place), or you can just take the information for what it is; rumor and possibility, not truth and fact.
Erm. You do know what next weekend is, right? At this time of year, retailers EVERYWHERE get shipments on the weekend. I work in retail management, and all of our stores are getting slammed with deliveries on Saturday, because of how busy next week is going to be. I would wager that if this rumor is true, the Nexus is going to be shipped alongside all of the stock they're building up for Black Friday weekend.
that is absolutely not true! they handle the majority of it of course, but att has had dozens of different commercials.
