So when I put my screen on to adaptive refresh rate or motion smoothness, I have the setting in developer options to show what the screen hz reading is at all times. For some reason my screen sits at 120hz and never drops, until I set it back to standard, I'm sure it never did this before the recent big update.

Can you guys just check this on your phones for me please.

Mines Also Switches from 120hz to 60hz

I use a Bixby routine to keep mine at 120hz while on the battery saving mode. 🙃

Here is what I did. I hope this helps you out!😊

Jimmy is Promo has recently made a video on how to have 120hz and power saving at the same time, it's quick and easy, no routines needed, but my issue is when I turn my adaptive 120hz on it does not seem to be adaptive like it was last time I tried it, it just stays at 120hz and doesn't reduce if I'm not using the screen.

Edit:
Ok I think I found a workaround, for me at least, I found that turning off 'dark mode' and then changing the screen to adaptive, it seemed to work as it should, then enable dark mode again.
