14 hours and 73% Battery remaing on Galaxy Note 3

So, besides turning off any app I could, I finally turned location settings to "power save" - as I'm on wifi mostly I see no performance issues as far as location is concerned, but for first time since kk, my screen is higher power consumption than android os! Battery close to if not =to jb.

If I need navigation in car can always pull down hit location icon.

Here is my battery stats since my last charge...using kitkat (new update from tmo). Prior to this I was only getting about 14 hours...also I've been playing Watch Dogs so that helped a bit with the decrease in screen on time)

Edit: Screen on time is not posting but it's 2hrs and 6mins (i know light usage, actually it's less time I'm wasting burning my pupils)

OMG! That's so impressive! Is there a specific reason why you're able to make your battery last so long? Settings? How you charge?

Tmobile had the voLTE update the other day and I guess it helped with battery life. I don't use battery savers, just power saving mode and light usage. I also don't use FB, Twitter, Instagram or G+ (deleted all of social accounts). I don't play games on my phone either. Just internet, reddit and music...

I have had insanely good battery life since the TMO update a couple days ago. Yesterday, after 5 hours and 46 minutes screen on time, I was still at 50% battery! Despite the wifi bug it introduced for me (posted in the TMO forum thread if anyone needs to know about it), I am thrilled with my new battery life.

I believe I have that wifi bug now too...

Re: 14 hours and 73% Battery remaing

In my experience, eventually, KK seriously messed up the battery life. Just over a week ago, right after I installed KK, I thought how happy I was that I could go for an entire day, incl. 4-5 hours of using mobile hotspotting, and still having some 30% of juice left. Unfortunately, it's no longer the case. My phone use hasn't changed at all, but now I have to start charging it in a middle of the day.

Oddly, now it also charges unusually fast.

yeah kk sucked for me too. I went over two months with bad battery life...my charger is also screwed. I'm looking into wireless charging now

I wish I could get the battery life I'm seeing from some posts in this thread. I spend a lot of time playing games, more so recently than usual. I'm always down to 20-30% by the end of the day. Even when it just sits on my desk at work most of the day.

Until about 50 full but started going auto it's the best option

If your not using it then it shouldn't drain anymore than 2-10% in I'm guessing the 7 hours you work check if there is anything running in the background (visit settings and battery)

Is this good?

Just bought a AT&T note 3, reset the device and here's some battery life without hardly any screen on use. Not bad even for just being on standby most of the time. All radios and sync active during use. If it wasn't for google plus and auto backup it would have been better...
