I've had pixel phone.
If you have read the forum.
Or listened to people talk about pixel phones
Google hasn't stepped up on the plate with the hdw
Nor the battery.
They are at least a yr behind with the ram.
They are behind with storage.
They took away the finger print sensor.

They are a yr behind with everything.

Google don't offer enough for what they charge.

I'm stating a fact.
And yet they charge top prices .

I'm enjoying my device but it really bums me out that the 90hz refresh rate is being gimped because Google wasn't smart enough to put in a proper sized battery. The 90hz is a joy to experience and going back to 60 does hurt. I can force 90hz but the what does that do to the battery?

It's also frustrating that we don't quite know anything about what Google actual has planned for the supposed fix that's coming. Will it be 60% instead of 75% before it goes to 60hz? ??????

This is the one key feature saving the pixel 4 and it's damaged by Google's stupid mistake with battery size.

And Samsung Loves to put what I consider bloatware on all their phones. Samsung is a no go with me

So you haven't looked at a new phone.
I can't speak for him but I consider anything I don't want on my phone that I can't easily remove bloatware. Samsung still adds apps to the phone that you can't recover without rooting it and manually deleting through ADB. Just saying.

There are still duplicate apps which you can't remove. I've also been told that there are apps like Facebook baked into the OS that you can't remove. For most people that's not a problem we use Facebook. But for those that don't it's impossible to remove without rooting and ADB and supposedly the app is still sending data to Facebook. That's what annoys me about Samsung. Fine put the crap on there. Make your 5 cents a phone or whatever it is but for the love of God just let us easily remove it.

Honestly never understood this complaint, while id prefer not to have Facebook on my device (bc i dont use it) you can still Disable the app to stop from working, even if it cant be uninstalled. I am certain almost every app on any Android can be disabled, this is what i did when i had my S6. While its annoying and likely drives OCD people mad, its mostly a non-issue that can controlled.

This coming from someone who would never buy another Samsung device after owning the S6 and testing every model since then, not defending them just stating my point.

Well I am slightly OCD. Soooo there's that. Plus I read in one thread that even after you froze it Facebook was still sending data. Its just dumb. What's the point in making it so you can't uninstall it if you don't use it or want it. Samsung got their money from the developer AND the customer paid them for the phone. It's literally their property now why restrict them from removing it if they don't want it?

You make a folder..
Put the apps you dont want to use in the folder and disable them.
If you disable Facebook and you have a pair if the virtual goggles and they don't work.
You can go to a phone store and they can tell you.
Well you disabled Facebook.
So it ain't gonna work.
If you root a phone.
Dont think they will take it on a trade in.

Think if I remember correctly.
I had a couple apps on my pixel that I couldn't remove.

Sorry bro I don't want to "create a folder and disable" apps I don't want on my phone. I want to be able to DELETE them with a tap of a button. As I said before linking Facebook to Gear VR is stupid. It's just a way for Samsung to make additional money. They are people who want nothing to do with anything Facebook. One user said that his Facebook app was still sending data even after he froze it. No thank you.

The apps you can't delete from Pixel are chrome, Gmail, and the app store. They are all core Android apps like IE is for Windows. There's no real reason you need Samsung's app store, mail app, browser, and whatever else they decide to jam down your throat. I don't care if they put them on there but let me DELETE them EASILY if I don't want them.

I'll also repeat this as well. It appears you are just here to troll and bash the Pixels and not really as anything to the conversation. Go troll on back to the Samsung forums.

So you haven't looked at a new phone.

I personally haven't owned a Samsung in awhile but my brother-in-law loves them. So I check his phone out. I know what comes on them. That's why I still don't care for them for myself.
They have a nice display but that's about it.

What apps did you have on your Pixel you did not like and want to remove but could not ?

I'm not gonna judge or throw shade at a Pixel because I've never used one. Just throwing my opinion out there on the duplicate apps situation. For me it's the Google apps that are the bloatware, not the Samsung ones. I immediately disable all Google apps except YouTube, Maps, Google app, and Play Store. I think one of the reasons I've never been all that interested in the Pixel is because I don't like Google apps. By the time I replace all the stock apps with an app of my preference, it seems pointless for me to have a Pixel.

If someone likes Google apps I'm sure Pixels are good phones. I just don't like them personally.

I do agree with you on the preinstalled apps like Facebook. I disabled it before I did anything else. I hadn't heard the thing about info still going to FB even if it's disabled. I'm gonna have to check into that. Thanks for the heads up!

To me one of the most important things is the Battery. How much memory it has.
How much storage it has.
And does it have a SD card.

Look at everywhere you go.
Everybody is running low on battery.
They don't have enough memory to run several programs at one time.
And they are limited to how much they can have on their phones.

The other stuff is just junk that is there.
So you drag it in a folder and put it on the back page and forget about it.
You got to realize. Companies pays other companies to keep their apps on phones.
This way say a phone mfg can save you a few bucks on the hdw on the new phones.

They don't make a perfect phone.
The phone mfg. Especially Google don't care what you like or don't like.
Don't think they care if you buy their phones or not.
They have some much money, its just a little vanture for them.
If it does good, great, If it don't, Write it off.

And to some people.
They don't care about the hardware or software. Forget the battery, Memory and storage.

As long as it has the absolute best camera.

Cause all they do is take pictures, and store them.

Guess you got to find out what you like this year and go with it.
Cause next year. Things might change.
Like they may remove the finger print sensor.
That may kill it for a lot of people to want a phone.

I like the fingerprint sensor.
Don't like and won't use facial recognition.
Hope the government don't have any or it.

Don't care for 911 on my phone or alerts.

Its your money.
What is your game.
What is the most important thing to you.

Sorry I'm a cancer patient, had stem cell placement.
I have short term and long term memory problems.

I've done forgot what all was on the pixel I Couldn't remove.
I know I got tires of only 4 gb ram. No SD card.
A smaller battery.
For some reason the Verizon dealer couldn't make it work on Wifi calling.
Got other people say their Pixel phone on verizon works fine.

don't know what the problem was.
Verizon said on their computer, it says the Pixel 3 works on wifi calling, The Pixel 3 xl on verizon don't.

My wife works 88 miles away. I see her just on the weekend.
She has to be able to get in touch with me or she freaks out.
She took me to Best Buy and said Pick out a Phone.

I had a note 7 and really, liked it. Even with the bad battery.
I wanted to keep it.
I don't use cheap cords an chargers to save money.

And I use Chrome on my Macbook pro.
On my surface computer and on my wifes Leveno Yoga computer.
I like samsungs app that is like chrome.

What I don't like is Windows 10.
