2 or more crashes a day? Should I return the TB?

I haven't had any reboots or force close issues. Not many apps on mine yet since I was kind of hoping for Unrevoked to come along this week. It could be a while so I will likely just install and move on.

12 hours with new TB. Left it on over night with wifi on. No restarts or force closes yet.

I have all the apps on it that I had on the other TB and my OG Droid. Except WatchDroid. Still don't think it's WatchDroid though. Restarts occurred with it disabled.

Must have been that handset. Will definitely post if I experience a restart.

38 Hours with ZERO restarts and ZERO app force closes with a new TB!

I've loaded all apps but WatchDroid. Only because I don't need it right now. I still don't think it was WatchDroid. Restarts occurred with it disabled. I've never needed to exchange a device before. This was definitely a defective device issue.

Just had my thunderbolt reboot on me while on the phone call with somebody. First time this has happened had the phone since the 18th of March with no problem.

my wife's shut off twice now once overnight while on a charge the other when off charger only app downloaded on hers is angry birds. when she turned back on it was fine, Mine has done this once while not on charge but had 3/4 battery level it was in my pocket wasn' t even in use. This issue needs to be addressed by both Verizon and HTC before an emergency call is missed.

I've had two random reboots since the 17th. It freaked me out but booted up fine with all data intact.

My BlackBerry phones did this all the time though so I'm not really worried. Hope I don't lose all my data though, like I did on my Tour.

You guys are lucky to get a replacement. I went to a corporate VZ store and they refused to replace it sunce the could not replicate the problem. I told them how is possible since it is RANDOM. I calledVZ tech support and they said do a factory reset. I told them been there done that. The had me boot it is safe mode and test it for 1-2 days. If it still does random reboots, they will replace it. Thing is my 14 day return time is this Thursday. If it is still is doing random reboots I will return it and get my NE2 back, wait a coupleof weeks and get a new one. I also plan on speaking with the store manager.

My first TBolt was rebooting itself a couple times a day, so I exchanged it at Verizon and only a few hours after getting everything set back up on my new one, it too rebooted on me. I then remembered one of the settings I had enabled in my ADW Launcher - "System persistent" - disabled that and haven't had a reboot in almost 3 days since. I have noticed that with that option disabled the launcher reloads a lot, which would explain why it was causing the phone to reboot. I am happy that I exchanged the first TBolt though, because I didn't realize how quiet the sounds were on my first one until I got my replacement, I thought that's just the way that phone was and I'm relieved to find out it's not. Fast boot never worked for me on the first phone either and this one works perfectly.

I havent had any random reboots but I get a force close on The Weather Channel app. Everythime I chick the radar in the app I get a force close. Any ideas? That is the only app that force closes for me.

The Weather Channel is killing me! I keep getting force closes too. And I love checking radar. Boo.

I'm keeping it hoping for a fix.

What sounds were quieter?

What sounds were quieter?

All sounds (notifications, alarms, ringtones) except voice calls. The alarm was nowhere loud enough to wake me up and I was constantly missing calls and texts because I couldn't hear them come in unless I was using the phone at the time. Even the sounds of the key press were so quiet that even cranked all the way up I would barely be able to hear it even in a quiet room. My new TBolt's sounds are all just as loud as my X is, so I am so glad I ended up exchanging it. I love this phone! Ten times better than my X!
