I bought my v20 directly from T-Mobile online on October 17th. The problem is I am having some difficulty in getting the rebate. When I called T-Mobile they knew nothing about a rebate. When I go to the store they say I should have applied for the rebate at the time of buying the phone. I did not see any place on the website where I could apply for the rebate when buying the phone.

Has anyone else gone through this process and found a way to get through to T-Mobile so you could get the rebate?

It's on the tmobile website on the order page with the V20 "$200 Trade-in: Trade-in must be 4G Smartphone, in good working order, with Find my Phone turned off. Difference between trade-in value and $200 paid as electronic check via email; valid email address required. Redeem at http://www.t-mobile.com/promotions by 12/11/16. Not responsible for misdirected or undelivered e-mails. Print e-check and cash or deposit within 30 days. Redeem only once. Allow up to 8 weeks for email, which will provide instructions if the e-check is lost, damaged, deleted or refused by a financial institution. Inquiries can be emailed to CustomerCare@LGrebates.com. Not combinable with other offers or programs where trade-in is required (e.g., Carrier Freedom)."

This happen to me I bought it online 0ct 17th thinking I was doing trade in for 200 credit. No dice today I called tmobile told them I wanted to do trade in they said I have to tell them what device I'm trading in at time of purchase...

So what they did they sent me a return label for the one I order online on October 17th and I'm returning that one then they had me order another one with my trade-in device which is worth nothing but I'll get an eCheck from LG for $200 and they're sending that one next day shipping no charge...

So when I get the new one I'll return the first one back and also sending my trade in device which they're providing a label in the box with the second new one..

It's a pain in the butt but at least I'll get my $200 credit and actually 2 pair headphones because on my first one I registered for the headphones with LG and now I register for another pair with my second one

Did anyone ever hear anything about the trade-in rebate? LG says they no nothing and I traded in an old HTC phone.

I decided to reach out to T-mobile and LG regarding my $200 rebate trade-in status. T-mobile gave me an lg email address to inquire about it. After 2 days of no response I called lg. lg informed me there is a problem with their rebate system. basically they do not have anyone's information and can not send out the rebate unless we call in and give them our information. it has been 2 days since i gave them my information and still no response.

Just got off the phone with Tmobile They know said it is up to lg to send it out .After telling them the situation they agreed to credit my account. my advice is to all tmobile and make them aware of the situation and have them credit your account since they are the ones in possession of our trade in devices.

Flexte Fitness - would you share the LG phone number so the rest of us can call in and make the same rebate request? THX.

I Literally did everything I could possibly do to see what's the deal with this long wait for the 200 echeck....Tmobile told me that LG has to email it...I have been approved since October 17th for this promo. I called LG and they told me to email them with my information and they would look into it. I will update you guys more on this matter hopefully by tomorrow when I get some answers.

Just got off the phone with T-mobile.
The first gentleman I spoke with said: "You never went to tmobile dot com slash promotions before 10/27 to apply for the $200 echeck from LG. As a result, you're not eligible for the $200 echeck from LG."
I said: "Listen to the recorded audio of my conversation with the rep when I purchased the phone. No one from tmobile ever said I needed to do that. I was told that after I submitted any 4G phone, that T-mobile would take care of requesting the $200 echeck from LG."
He replied: "The requirement for you to apply via tmobile dot com slash promotions was most likely a detail in the terms and conditions that nobody ever reads. But I will offer you a $100 courtesy credit to your account, but can't compensate you for the full $200."
I told him $100 is better than $0. He credited my account $100.
.
Part 2:
Still not comfortable with half of what I was originally promised, I reviewed all my correspondence with T-mobile.
I've been calling in on the promotional $200 credit for a while now. In a mid-November conversation with Tmobile, the rep assured me I'd be receiving $200 - and I asked her to send me an email confirmation of the conversation. The email was received 11/17.
Armed with evidence of the email, I placed a second call to tmobile - admitting to the courtesy $100 credit, but now armed with evidence of a confirmation email. The rep said that, because I was promised the $200 credit in writing, she would honor it with an additional $100 account credit.
.
45 minutes later I now have the $200 promised credit for the purchase of a V20 from T-Mobile. But it surely seems that the promotion was run with undisclosed caveats/requirements - and those who didn't discover and fulfill the requirements by 10/27 are left without their $200 rebate.
.
Good luck with your efforts at a refund. You can rest assured I'll be HIGHLY SKEPTICAL of any future T-mobile promotional offers!!!!!

Sprint was good All I did was just the phone and they added 200.00 on my acking few weeks after

Same kind of thing happened to me when I was trying to get a free line this past black Friday. First of all I did get two free lines, but the latter I was down to the wire and took me awhile to decide if I actually wanted to do it. The promo ended at midnight and I was on the phone with them at 10:45.. Talking to someone from out of the country, then their system wouldn't work for me to get the free internet line that I was trying to get so they put me on hold ( i had no idea at the time.) They put me on hold at around 11:15, for 45 minutes, got transferred to someone that finally sounded like they were from Texas or something and said that it was too late for me to redeem the free line. It was 12:01!!!!! I was on hold for the majority of the time.. I brought that to her attention and she said there was nothing she can do... So I used twitter to Tweet them, they responded and hooked me up. They did some type of voodoo to help me out. But man. Their phone reps suck, but their Twitter reps are great.

Did VZW also offer a $200 discount? I purchased my phone on 10/22 and could've sworn I signed up for the rebate, but have seen hide nor hair of it.

I don't recall a 200 dollar discount during pre-order. I think best buy did but they never had stock early on.

I contacted T-Mobile they Connected me to the Promotional Team that Rep saw my approval and was also wondering why it was never shipped out to me, so she credited my T-Mobile account for $200!
