I apologize ahead of time if this has already been discussed. 90% of my phone contacts are again missing from my car's navi system. I have deleted the connection and re-installed, I have contacted Honda and they say it is a problem with Samsung, I contacted Samsung and they basically told me to reinstall. Am I missing something here...can you offer any further advice?

Get an iPhone - those people don't seem to have these kind of problems, judging by what I've seen in the Samsung Galaxy S III forums.
There are quite a few "my phone won't do X with my <your model car goes here> car" if you search through the forums. Some of them (a minority) have been solved by updating the firmware in the head unit in the car; most of them never seemed to be resolved.

My entire day has been wasted trying to resolve this problem. 3 hrs. at the Honda Service Dept., a couple hours at the Verizon store and finally a couple hours on the phone with Tech Support at Verizon. I finally found a thread on line about addressing this same problem where it was suggested downloading the Bluetooth Phonebook app ($1.95). I did and it worked! Thank goodness. If that didn't work they were going to send the phone back to Samsung and I would receive a refurbished one...wasn't happy with that suggestion!
