2012 Nexus 7 Android 5.1.1 Update

[AC Question]

Updated my 2012 Nexus 7 last night with 5.1.1 and computer is terrible, crashes, programs won't load etc. What do I do?

Can I revert to old operating system?

You may be able to find a Android v X.x ROM for that device. If you can't, you may be able to flash an older version of a 3rd party ROM, like Cyanogen Mod. You won't be able to do this "Over The Air" (OTA) like the 5.1.1 update.
