2013 NEXUS 7 CONNECTED TO A WIFI ADAPTER .. POSSIBLE?! ( Wireless WiFi network Adapter )

I purchased the 2013 Nexus 7 to replace both my travel computer and my Kindle for ease of travel but found it not as effective in finding nearby WIFI so researched until I found the above Alfa adapter .. tried it on my Windows 7 .. works GREAT! But what I REALLY need is better WIFI on my Nexus 7!

Being a grandmother of 10 .. I am not too "techie" so my question is:
1. Is there a way of using a USB cable to copy the Alfa adapter software from my Windows 7 laptop to the Nexus 7? Frankly I would need step by step instructions! (Sorry!)
2. After this is done .. would I be able to use adapters/converters to connect the adapter to the tablet .. as the ALFA ADAPTER IS "MINI" USB .. NEXUS 7 IS "MICRO" USB?

3. Then use a Mini B Cable to plug it into an electrical source?

If a smart techie person can help me I would SO appreciate it! Of my 10 grandchildren not one of them lives in the same state .. nor can help me!

While it may be possible to get files copied to your Nexus 7 in various ways, they will do you no good unless they have drivers specifically written for Android. Based on the fact that the product listing doesn't mention Android that is very unlikely. The fact that it mentions Linux could be promising that they may port it on the future, but that doesn't help you now.
