2150 vs 3500 Battery question

I had one but the case wouldnt fit right so I didnt use it. I am in the process of returning it actually.

It didn't fit with the standard battery cover? Would you notice if you had the black glossy silicone case over it? I'm still considering this as an option

im currently using the stock 1300 and 1500 batteries. i have an external charger and have the extra charged all the time. i switch them out when i get in the red (14%). so far it works. its like i have a 2800 battery.

i ordered the 2150 battery from vzw last night. with my discount from work it was only $49 shipped. it should be here tomorrow. im anxious to see how long itll last me. i dont normally use my phone at work.

If you are gonna get the 2150 just buy the 3500. Not much difference in thickness but a huge difference in battery life.

i am liking the 2150. Easily double the life. Question, the phones battery status page states the battery hovers between 3700 and 4100, do this not relate to the 2150 the phone is supposed to be at? or am i reading the meter wrong?

This is the exact set-up I'm waiting on to be delivered - a 1500 TP2 and Seidio battery charger.. that should last me the entire day and I can keep a case on the Incredible and it will stay as slim as possible.

I thought about buying the 3500 but I'm not so sure about Seidio (couple bad reviews). If the 2150 doesn't work out I'll return it and check out the 3500.

So you've returned all of the extended batteries that you've purchased? How come?

Can you explain that better? what is 3700 and 4100 and what meter are you referring to?

I have the 1500 as well as the 2600 batteries off of e bay. I think I am going to try using the 2600 for this long weekend and see how it does. I am not so sure I am a fan of the thickness though...we'll see.

With the Seidio 1750 I was still having to charge mid-day so that wasn't worth $40 to me.. the 3500 just made the device too bulky for me although it did last me thru the day and the one I got off ebay from bidallies the back cover wasn't flush and that bothered the crap out of me lol. back to stock battery which actually seems to last a lot longer now that I have froyo

The 3500 is fantastic power source. You can finally use your phone as often as you want without having to worry about a dead battery.

I've been able to trust Seidio batteries with all my smartphones, except the BlackBerry (wasn't needed).

Don't buy crap off of eBay. Buy the real thing.

I don't wear tight jeans or short shorts; so, the bigger profile of the phone isn't a problem. In fact, the phone actually feels better in my hand now while I'm using it.

I just pulled the trigger on this. I'm a heavy user and I've been stuck with a dead phone too many times lately to deal with it anymore.

Well e everyone is right. This thing is not nearly as big as it seems. Just got it so performance wise I can't comment but I prefer the extra bulk.

Updated didn't give me the juice I wanted so I picked one up as well. Hardest part right now is getting the thing down to about 20% so I can get it through a few charging cycles. Right now It's last 2 days for me. and I'm a pretty heavy user. (games, Podcast downloads, audio all the time, pictures/texts).

It doesn't fit in my front pants pocket as well as it used to..a little more bulk/heft, but not enough to make me not use it. I do miss my case though.

It's true, it's tough to kill this thing. I wanted to get it as low as possible so I could put it through some full cycles. I ran it down to about 7% last night and did 2 bump charges this morning. It's been off the charger for 3 hours so far. I used the GPS/NAV on the way to work to find my way around traffic (45 min) and I've been listening to Pandora for about 1.5 hours. It's down to 96% so far.

Going to try and use it how I do normally and see what I can get out of it today. Usually by noon on the stock battery I'd be around 30%.

I'm charging every other night now. This is the battery that HTC should have put in the DI from the beginning.

I got the 2150. I charge overnight with the phone in airplane mode because I use it as my alarm. Otherwise, I would turn it off to charge. I check my messages in the AM, then I bump charge maybe twice in the AM (that can take 1.5 hrs). It's off the charger at 9:30AM and I don't have to charge again until that night. I listen to podcasts and check the internet fairly regularly, so I'm probably considered a power user. I may be at 10% at night, however.

Just called Verizon and complained about my battery, so they are sending me a 2150 for free. It ships Wednesday :)

Pelican P, after calling Verizon last week and being told "we're just the carrier, we didn't build the phone so you need to call HTC"...I called Verizon yesterday and spoke with someone with half a brain. First she offered to send me another 1350 battery. I pointed out this would only mean I have two of something that was inferior. They agreed to send me the 2150 battery no charge also. When I asked the V Rep if the 2150 would also include a new back she said "no, it's the same size as your original battery". I just chuckled and said "ship it"! I purchased a Seido 1750 so now I'll add the 2150 to my arsenal of batteries. I've never had to work so hard to be a happy customer! I hope the Dinc will fit in my pants pocket with the new 2150 without causing my pants to hit the ground. I refuse to wear suspenders just to carry the weight of a blasted phone. Maybe suspenders will soon appear as an accessory for Dinc owners.
My daughter is using my new every two. I encouraged her to consider something other than the Dinc. She ordered the Droid 2 because of improved battery life. We'll see how that works out.

Just in case I'm missing the sarcasm, the 2150 DOES include a new back and it is twice the thickness of the original battery...

As far as suspenders, the 2150 only adds about an ounce to the qeight of the phone.
