24 Hours with the LG G6

I just got my g6 yesterday and I am loving how this flies compared to my occasionally laggy s7 edge. My only complaint is that the battery life isn't that good but I'm holding full opinions on it until after the official release date of April 7th. There is supposed to be an update for tmobile versions on that day and I sure if that is the case I am dealing with pre production software so to speak. Here is to hoping they fix this and any other bugs I have yet to come across.

Really? I have found battery life to be fantastic on this device. I'm very impressed with it so far.

LCDs don't burn in, OLEDs do.
Ive had my LG G6 since 23rd. I love it, I average 4he 30mins to 4hr 45 mins, mixed use. Screen is beautiful, wireless charging is great, great looking device. Only thing ive noticed is my Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 car charger doesnt seem to charge faster for some odd reason. Could be just a software bug.

Unfortunately yes. If i dont use it looses about 1 percent every 15ish minutes and when i am actually using it it just drops fast. This is no where near what i have experienced with my S7 Edge. Maybe the battery has to be broken in or maybe that this is pre release software (per tmobile their is an update next friday) effecting it i dont know, but i am hoping it will get fixed or improve. Lucky you though that you are getting good battery life.

I was on pace to get 6 hours of SOT today. But since we were going out, I had to charge my phone. Before I plugged it in, I had 5 hours of SOT and 30% left.

Yeah. I don't think the S8 is very different from the S7 edge. I want something different and I love dual cameras. The LG G6 will be perfect for me because of that.

Plus, I absolutely hate the placement of the fingerprint sensor on the S8s. I have small hands (I'm not afraid to admit that) and I don't want to strain my little fingers trying to reach the fingerprint sensor.

Great minds think alike. I also opted to go G6 this time. Waiting for my Platinum to arrive.

Glad you're enjoying it . I am loving mine so far. I normally don't mind bezels but I have to admit this phone fits nice in hand without sacrificing screen space.

I'm also falling in love with the dual cameras haha.

G5 had burn in, mine definitely does, it's a known issue. Goes away after having the screen off for a long enough period of time.

That's ghosting... Not burn in. Burn in means it never goes away.
