2800mAh? Is this a joke?

I think it's closer in size to Note 10+, probably too big for me.

It is slightly smaller than a Note 10+. It is still a pretty big phone, maybe get some hands on time at a local Best Buy or Verizon store.

And I find it interesting that there is no mainstream phone that will work on Verizon that can last me all day without a top off. Battery size is almost irrelevant for my needs and usage. I'm currently using a Note 10 + which has a decent size battery.

iPhone?

The 3xl has crap battery life. It certainly hasn't been any better on Android 10. Hopefully the 4xl is better, but i have little confidence in the regular 4.

I'd go XL as well ... I'm sure it will run efficiently.. I'm so spoiled with this Note+ ...

I kill the battery daily on anything 4000 mAh or lower. There are some days I might be able to make it home but that would be a rarerty and I would probably be down to 20 percent or lower. My iPhone (work phone) lasts for days because it's on standby.

I'm surprised on the Note 10+

Ah weird. I can't kill my iPhone. Same when I had my Pixel.. I could get through the day w/o issue.

The only day I kill my battery is when the Vikings are playing and it's not on in the Denver market, pretty much every Sunday this year so far. I love fast charging.

Just wondering how many hours of SoT or what other kind of usage you're doing on one charge to have that experience? Killing a Note 10+ in one day is no small feat for a phone like that.

Everyone has a different lifestyle. My commute to and from work is 2 hrs each way. I use it all day long starting at 4:30 am and I don't get home till 6:30 pm. I stream music during my commute 2 to 3 hrs on average. I don't look at SOT, I just use the device. I don't follow the 40 to 80 percent rule charging rule. I start with a 100 percent and when it get down to 40 if I remember I top off. Sometimes I get down to 30 or 20 but I try to avoid that and top off so I know I have enough to get home.

I agree , and I'm on the phone a lot

Ummmm...still No
I don't know why this is a debate. We don't have the same lifestyle and I use my device differently then you do. I stream music back and forth to work. I commute 4 hours a day. I stream music sometimes at work. My headphones are high impedance when Noise Cancellation is active which uses more power. I play games on my phone at work like asphalt 9. That's just for starters. That's without including social media and Android Central and everything else I do.

You should have led with that. Nothing burns through a charge like mobile gaming... There's no phone on the market that will endure a heavy gamer without (at least) a recharge during the day.
