No update here yet, but I just noticed that mine has changed from checking every 12 hours to every 2hrs which is definitely different.

Bought 3g version on release day. Pay for data plan and still no update....Absolutely unacceptable. This is why I use cyanogenmod on my phone.....Waiting days for a stock pure Google device hurts my brain.

Agree! How do you think I feel? We are sitting on three of them... all since day 1... all active 3G since day 1.

Ours checked this morning and checked tonight... at different times of course... the three units checked between 7PM and just after 9PM. Nothing.

This is BS.

It's upsetting and frustrating because there is zero communication.

I'll beat that dead dog again... The marketing group inside Motorola hasn't got a clue how to create a loyal customer base. They are lucky their engineers are good and created something that sells itself.

Hopefully the engineers can keep it up, because G-d help Motorola Mobility when they they actually need to rely on marketing and customer loyalty to move product. They have neither.

4. and for the last time folks these OTA's are COMPLETELY RANDOM based upon a randomly generated list of IEMI NOT where you live or where or when you bought the thing or where you are. We go through this every time we get an OTA update on a device, trust those of us who have been through this many many times

How is yours checking every couple hours?? Mine shows 12hrs, if you leave it alone and don't force it with the date trick, between check times...

I have no idea why it checked every two hours, but it did. It was either set that way from the start, or maybe playing with the date & auto time settings changed it to 2 hrs? Like I said, I have no idea. Or maybe it starts checking more often when it's almost your turn?? It was every two hours right on the dot (2:05, 4:05, 6:05, 8:05, 10:05, and then at 12:05 the update rolled in).

EDIT: Interesting, the check for updates screen now has a button to manually check for updates.

Dallas, TX has the update. Best guess of when it came in was just before, or after 12:00 am CST. Guess they were making a hardcore last push due to up tick in "I finally got it" posts. BTW for everyone who hasn't read threw many posts on this issue setting your date a day ahead, and rebooting forces it to check for updates... confirmed.

Geographic location has nothing to do with it.
