3 Days with the M8 and 3 Days with the S5

I love how M8 faithful are honestly trying to validate this crap of a camera. It's pretty entertaining

Looking at some of the M8 images on Flickr and I can't bring myself to call the camera crap. The S5 is better but the M8 isn't complete crap unless those images were staged and edited.

I'm on Sprint and got the M8 yesterday and so far it has been better. I like everything about the S5 except the reception.

I'm not surprised I've heard a lot of reviewers say the M8 was very slippery to hold, and I know the camera isn't very good either.

One thing I'll add is when I went into my AT&T store to play with the phones I was simply shocked at how much bigger the HTC M8 looked next to the Galaxy S5. I know it's only a very slight difference Inch Wise, but the M8 looked huge on the display.

I have the M8 coming from Galaxy S3 since August 2012. The M8 is lightning quick with no lag which is to be expected I would imagine of most of the quad core monsters coming out within the last several months are no different in that regard. My S3 was maddening when scrolling through photos for example, it would lag and lag and the camera would constantly crash. What I really enjoy about the M8 is how truly smooth it is. There is no lag whatsoever, ever. I have always had Samsung smartphones, the S, S2 and S3. I played around with my co-workers S5 the other night for five minutes and didn't see anything ground breaking compared to the S3 other than it was much snappier and faster of course. I figured why not try something new and for the most part I am pleased with the M8, SENSE 6 has been easy to get used to for the most part. I do miss some of the features of my S3, particularly with regard to the phone app such as the way the contacts, favorites and so forth are laid out.

Either way I am sure I will be lusting after something else in 12 months or less, so in the meantime I am content with the amazing upgrade from the S3 and plan on enjoying it for the time being.

Battery S5? Thats a JOKEEEEE haha.....The S5 dies faster than my 1020, my M8 lasts for 17 hours doing the same exact things.

Huge? I dont understand are you all with like midget-hand-syndrome? The phone isnt big AT ALL, it also is 10 times easier to grip since its not as wide as the S5. When I went to the ATT store I was simply shocked by how the S5 was lost among the other samsung devices.

After my week with the S5 I switched over to the M8. The TW interface was laggy and although I installed Nova it was still not as fast as the native M8 Sense.

Does PdaNet+ work well with S5 and M8 - the WiFi feature and all? I heard HTC disables the WiFi feature of PdaNet, is that true?
