Go to Cell Phones - Smartphones: Cell Phone Service, Accessories - Verizon Wireless, Make sure you are signed out of your account.

Search for HTC Thunderbolt accessories, find the battery only charger and click add to cart.

Search for HTC Rezound accessories, find the extended battery and add to cart, do not click on item description

Go to cart and then sign in. The price should be $5 for the charger, and $5 for the 3 extended batteries. see screenshot below.

credit goes to Jamesy628 from this post who found it worked for 1 battery. I tried 3 and it's the same price.

There's no way you'll get this. VZ will not give you 3 extended batteries plus a cover for $10 bucks. This is a glitch in the website and will be adjusted on your bill or credit card, however you chose to pay, or the order will be canceled. You will have the choice.

Holy smokes! Thanks so much! I ordered 2 chargers and 3 batteries and it was only $15. I'll be sending back the extended battery I bought earlier this week. Thank you!

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

You're gonna regret it. Verizon already knows and is working to fix the website. Your billing will reflect the correct amount or the order will be canceled. You can cancel before shipment if you want, or not. Up to each of you.

Believe me, VZ billing is not going to go by the website totals. When this hits accounting, they know what should (and will) be charged and it will be adjusted or canceled.

Oh, and BTW. You do know that VZ charges a re-stocking fee for returns, right?

If we have receipts though, they can just charge the 'correct' amount even with documentation saying otherwise? does not seem right to me....

And if they were to charge a restocking fee - even if I never open up the box, that is not right since my receipt says $10 and my credit card bil lwil lsay substantially more.

How do you cancel an order before it is processed?

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

hmmmm, maybe someone should call VZW and see whats what?

I believe they can charge the correct amout though, I'll be darned if I am paying a restocking fee on $175 worth of Merch.

wouldn't they need to contact you first with a correct receipt and the chance to cancel your order? Isn't a receipt a legal document consenting to the amount that you paid? Then, if you see an incorrect amount on your credit card - why can't you contact the credit card company and say it is fraud?

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

ehh it wouldnt be fraud, it would be Not Authorized, since you Authorized a different amount. but I tried talking to VZW Chat, and the said they do not see my order #, its been 45 minute since I placed the order, they asked me to check back later.

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

Well, we'll see what happens, I guess.

I just ordered a charger and 2 battery/cover kits. Let the chips fall where they may. I think the extended battery/cover kits are still on sale @ 50% off regardless, so if I'm charged that price, Ebay here they come!

Thanks to the OP for bringing this to our attention!

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

they can't legally charge you for more without getting your permission. They can and probably will cancel.

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

I just ordered 3 batteries and the charger as well. If they try to charge my card more I'll dispute with Chase. VZW can not charge an amount more than I authorized. Keep copies of your receipts!

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

I just got an email from Verizon acknowledging my order, and "(my) order is currently in queue to be processed". Standard response, I suppose...

...But, they haven't cancelled my order (yet)! :)

Same here. They can't legally charge you more than you agreed upon. If anything they'll email us telling us of the mistake and the real price, thus giving us a chance to cancel. That would be absurd to think they'd just charge you whatever they wanted after you submitted your order for the given price. Sorry, not gonna happen.

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

I remember when Best Buy had a glitch and they put up the HTC Flyer for $99. Everyone and their mom ordered one, and they didn't honor a single one. There was just a mass cancelling of orders.
The fact that you have to follow elaborate steps to get this pricing to show up this cheap should be a red flag. I looked up the extended battery the old fashioned way and it showed a price of $59.99.
If you pull this off, however, I'll be real impressed.

That would be the ethical thing to do, but is not required. As long as the credit card company authorizes the correct amount, that is what you will be billed. If you dispute with credit company fine, in the end the result will be the same. Send back the merchandise, probably pay the re-stocking fee, or just bite it.

Cmon you people you KNOW this is a mistake because the website shows the correct price. You're trying to justify stealing from VZ.

You think they'll just let it happen?

How is it NOT required on their part to charge you what you agreed upon? How is that even legal? It even says it in my receipt I got (3 Extended Battery w/Cover -regularly $59.99 $ 14.97). There is no way they could just CHARGE me full retail price without my consent. That is absurd to think that they could blindside you without even contacting you. Where is your proof that they can do this?

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

About the charge authorization dispute:
Whatever price you're charged is the one that you approved upon your end of the transaction. In other words:
You see an item for $5. You go to pay. You enter info, you agree that you wish to pay $5. Transaction finalized.
If a vendor realizes he charged too little, he has to cancel the order before it is processed. If the credit card purchase is cleared and no one catches the pricing error and the item is shipped to you, that ends the transaction and you keep the item. The company takes the financial hit.
End of story. Purchase prices CANNOT be altered after you agree upon the price by finalizing the purchase on the checkout screen.
That should end it. It's a whole other matter if they'll actually ship it to you or not. (Doubt it)

EDIT: I wanted to mention that if you somehow altered the price by taking advantage of a glitch on the site, please be sure the checkout screen and your email receipt show the altered price. If it shows the $59.99 for the extended battery, you're not gonna get Verizon to buy your story about the amazing discount.

Re: (3) Rezound 2750mah extended batteries + ext battery charger

I received an email shortly after ordering showing the 3 batteries totalling $4.99. With my agreed upon price for everything.

I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for them to charge you more than the agreed upon cost for the items without contacting the purchaser and telling them that there was an error.

I guess we will see shortly.
