30 hours SOT

I left the g4 screen on without doing anything using lux setting the brightness pretty low in airplane mode with battery saver and used 28% in 8 hours 38 minutes. This extrapolates to about 30 hours.

This is obviously a proof of concept test... Point being... You can hit just about any SOT number below this, depending on what you are doing. You can probably even get a little bit higher as I have a alot of apps installed, some probably running in the background using a small amount of power.

And then there is this.... Not sure I get it. Even with network changed from global to cdma/LTE. Had the G3 and thought maybe it was the phone. Guess not.

Your Google Play Services is killing your battery. You need to disable the services not being used.

I know. What I can't understand is why... I don't use books, new stand, etc. I use maps a lot, Gmail, but I don't use +, photos or Now. Never even signed in to any of those. I went in and unchecked them from auto sync. Maybe that will help

I was strictly referring to the original post; nothing to do with your response.
Over the course of the release of this phone, we have gradually gone from "SOT" thread to "SOT" thread here, from "my SOT is 2 1/2 hours and this phone sucks!!1" to "4 hour SOT" to "SOT 8hrs"...to now a thread with a simple title of "30 hours SOT". A crazy number at first glance (and before reading the detailed post). It gave me a chuckle.

It's great that the SOT can be stretched so far with this device.

Ah, gotchya. I am amazed at the range experienced too. I just wish I was one of the guys reporting 4 to 5 hours.
