3D Email Not Syncing After Boot Up

I've noticed recently that some of my email accounts are not syncing when I boot up my 3D. I have 9 email accounts on my phone. Auto sync is checked and the sync settings are correct for each account. Only the 2 Gmail accounts sync when the phone boots, but the Gmail icon doesn't show in the notification bar for a while, if at all. The other accounts don't sync until I open them, even though the sync time is set for 15 minutes. Seems the accounts sync ok after that. I've noticed too that some emails are received the next day. I see the emails on my computer, but they don't show up on my phone until the next day and some don't come through at all. My old Evo 4G synced all accounts upon boot up, and I don't remember emials showing up the following day or not at all. Anyone else having this email issue? If so, were you able to resolve it?

Ive been having sync problems with my exchange email for work. I didnt change anything, and all of a sudden, it quit working. But I cant get logged in on the computer for some reason either, so I think its an internal issue, just waiting to hear from our IT dept to find out what the problem is

I have been having the same problem. I have several pop3 accounts that I have set for syncing and do not receive anything until I manually check them (I also have them set to refresh when I open them manually). I have rechecked my settings for auto updates and background info....I have even done a master reset on the phone and nothing.

I am also receiving periodic incorrect timestamps for some of my text messages. I am completely frustrated with the time consumption this is taking to get simple, basic things set up. (I started with this phone on 7/29 and it is still without basic communication functionality) I am new to Android (coming from Blackberry) and these items, along with the vastly decreased battery capacity (compared to my 2 year old Tour with original battery) is making me second think my decision to move.

I understand all the amazing capabilities Android has over Blackberry, but I need a solid core of basic functionality for the primary purpose of a phone (communication) and battery life that allows me to utilize some of the features that make Android so advantageous, instead of having them sit idle to conserve battery enough to make it through one day.

Is there anyone out there that can both assist with the issue I am having and be a "guide" to a new member of what I feel is the greatest platform in existence? I am deeply considering rooting my phone, or could these issues be due to a faulty handset. Help Please!!

I wish I could help but at best my email seems to randomly sync and only truly load when I check it manually. I've just gotten into the habit of checking it periodically since I don't have work email hooked in and my personal accounts aren't time critical.

I had no sync issues with my old Palm Pre so it's frustrating, it's my biggest complaint about the 3D so far. I hear the Android GMail app works better from a sync standpoint but I like the HTC Mail application except for this one issue.

Apparently other people aren't having this issue or they don't notice it/care because I have only seen a few scattered complaints.

I am still having issues with email syncing randomly, if at all, even though settings are correct, so I called HTC. The tech thought maybe it was an app causing the problem. She suggested I boot the phone in safe mode, which will not allow 3rd party apps to work, and then see if email syncs as scheduled. To boot into safe mode, turn off the phone. Wait about 30 seconds, press power on button and when phone starts immediately hold down the lower volume button thru the entire bootup. In the lower left corner of the screen you will see "safe mode." I did this and let the phone pull email as it should. Guess what....all of the email accounts automatically down loaded! So there must be some truth to what the HTC rep said about 3rd party apps causing the issue. Now my dilema is which app might be causing the problem. I have over 40 apps loaded from the Market and don't have any clue which app might be the problem child. Can those of you who are having email sync issues do a safe mode boot to see if this helps your email sync issues?

I just started having this problem this month. So it must be a 3rd party app I installed recently. Culprits are Xfinity Mobile, Assistant, Splashtop Remote, Playstore, Gasbuddy, Draw Free and BuddyTV. I will check back if I find the culprit. It could be an automatic update to previously installed apps, which will make it harder to trace. I will check those first. Stay tuned.

I had this problem and it was recently fixed when an app took my to login to my htc account.

Before logging in to sense with my account twitter and gmail push notifications didn't work.

Not sure where you do this though so if anyone finds out let me know.
