That said, if they don't want us to use third-party charges maybe they should include one in the box lol.

There are zero references to chargers in that article. Regardless, there are plenty of safe reliable charger brands and no reason to avoid them.

1. There is barely a mention of chargers, as other stated. If you don't want us to use 3rd party chargers, include one in the damn box or sell yours at a reasonable price.

2. I use a 3rd party lens protector and it is not like what they showed in that article. There is no slot that dust/particles can get into. Mine are sealed all the way around with adhesive and I have yet to have any issues with picture quality.

I do agree that you have to be careful removing them, but otherwise, I think it's just a fluff piece.

Regardless of the not-so-perfect written article, I think the mention of the Mic opening at the base of the top camera lens ring is important info. It makes sense that putting certain types of lens protectors, could impair the microphone's ability to function properly.

I'd hate to pay a repair technician only to have him tell me that my sound issues were due to the fact that I covered the Mic.

I just tried recording at my desk with music playing and did not hear any issues at all. I am not sure the MIC that is used is actually there since mine covers that lens completely and I didn't detect anything on playback.

Would be interesting to see if anyone else notices issues that have lens covers installed.

I'll be honest as well. My wife is the shutter-bug in the family. I almost never take Vids and rarely take pics unless it's something I am selling or whatever. LOL!

I don't think there is a microphone in the top camera ring. At least I cannot see it. Otherwise, their very own Samsung Leather case, to name a few would cover this microphone as the rings closes up against the case almost perfectly.

I bought this little beauty on Amazon for around 20 quid delivered.

Using it with my S20 (25w charging) and the phone recognises it and shows "Super Fast Charging" when plugged in.

Very compact in size and the foldable pins make it very easy to take travelling
