3rd party equalizers not working

I have a galaxy s10 plus. The sound quality is horrendous using any headphones. I downloaded power amp but none of the eq settings or bass/treble knobs do anything to change the sound. What am I missing. Please help.

Make sure Dolby Atmos is on , can go to sound and advance sound in phone settings tweak there, otherwise might be head phones your using has a issue.

Atmos is on. The s10 equalizer works to adjust sound but power amp doesn't change anything.

How about in sounds advance settings ?
If that don't work then probably try another head phone

Built in eq from sounds advanced settings works. Only 3rd party eq apps dont. Doesn't matter what headphones I try.

Oh ok understand now only 3rd party eq , can try clearing cache in the 3rd party and data then force stop see if helps.

Can try sound assist in the Galaxy app store ?

I tried that as well there is no eq in that anymore. Only balance settings. Very strange.
