3rd Party phone app getting interference from factory installed app

Have an AT&T Android 7.0 phone. My preference is the TextFree app which works well. Recently each call is some how prompting the launch of the Go Phone app which wallpapers itself over the dial pad I need to control Text free.

If there is a was to remove, without consequence or neutralize would want to know about it. Guidance sought
