4.0.3

well with 4.0.2 both gsm and cdma/lte versions got the update.

I understand that. I'm saying that might not always be the case. Like the Nexus S having 4.0.3 but the GSM and LTE GN don't have.

With pure Honeycomb different models have different updates. Wifi, 3g and LTE all have different updates purely because of the hardware. Its not inconceivable that the same thing will happen with the gnex.

People on the xoom forums will be upset because they don't have the latest version but its just because they don't need it.

If you don't want to wait for Google/Verizon/Samsung to release it OTA, you could build it yourself. I'm going to do a video tutorial on how to build it from source using Jerry's post under Hacking (not the galaxy nexus forum). I currently have 1 4.0.3 built, but I'm trying to see if I can get it to build with a virtual machine... If it completes... I can assure you I don't recommend it as its been building since 9:30am eastern and its still not done.

My GSM Gnex hasn't received a update to 4.02 yet. I read on the XDA forum that it may have been stopped and they will just release 4.03 instead.

Ok so if i deleted the file i have perm root. So the only way to get a update i would need to go back to factory coditions. So i did, but i did not relock the bootlaoder. I then rerooted buy double clicking the fastboot file i had downloaded. Ok now im all booted up and have su. I downloaded rom manager installed recovery and tried it out and it worked fine. I even did it through fastboot. Now when i look for that same file i deleted using root explorer its not there. So does that mean i still have perm root or temp root. I want temp root.

Also over at rootzwikki they say you will get the update and that it will not fail, as long as you don't modifi any thing.
