4.0.4 Did you get yours?

Yep, my update was waiting for me when I got up this morning. Yesterday I had tried the 3 click method mentioned in another thread but it didn't work for me.

I got mine when I woke up this morning. Service at my house is exactly the same as it was before.. Horrible.

Got mine this morning :D now let's see how she performs this coming week!

Don't be in a rush to get it. I just got mine and I no longer get 4G in the house where I always did. Superb. Sure glad I waited 6 months for this!

New improved radios? Gimme a break!

I think somebody got up on wrong side of the bed this morning.

Got up this morning always check my phone and power off to reboot while still plugged in. The update was waiting when I first looked at the phone. Took about 10 minutes to load and update.
Happy Day:D

Having a problem with my wife's Gnex. I've got her unlcoked and rooted, but no mods. Her update came through during a Lost marathon last night and when I tried to accept the update, it reboots to the initial Google screen very breifly shows the Android with the blue sphere, then shows the Android with the red triangle with the Exclamation Mark! I do a battery pull to reboot, and she keeps getting prompted for the update. Anyone else got this problem?

Same here. I think you have to unroot to get it to install but I don't know how to unroot.

What's her recovery?

It should be CWM. It's annoying because it keeps prompting her to take the update and she has to keep choosing to do it later. I'd like for her to have the update, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Does Wugs have the option to push the update? I rooted her using Wugs.

I don't believe it would; you could install the update manually by using my guide. That'll take care of it in a matter of moments TBH.

Should I attempt to unroot her using wugs, take the update, then root again?

You could try that, but keep in mind you're going to need to use the new SU zip, found here ==> http://db.tt/wnGIRU4p

For some reason I don't think it's root that is necessarily causing an issue, but rather the recovery.

Your other alternative, like I said, is to download it and install it manually using CWM. You still need OTA RootKeeper/the new SU, but it'll work just the same.

Are there any reports of root being broken or not working on 4.04? I'm sure if so, it'll be fixed soon; but if there is I might try to wait a bit before rooting again. Thanks again for everyone's help.Gnex Girl, Hope you get through it too

Yes, root will break when you take the OTA. The superuser app I linked is the only SU app (AFAIK) that will give you root with the new 4.0.4.

If you lose it, it's also linked in my IMM76K update thread.

Just to make sure, I need to rename the SU 4.04 update.zip, place it on her device and update it via recovery, am I right?
