4.0.4 OTA has Arrived!

Although my Gnex is working fine and is probably the best phone ever had ever had including my Razr Maxx and iPhone all that aside I paid VZW over 5 grand last year and I ain't got it yet.

I got my Nexus last Sunday, 5/26, and my Baseband is I515.10.V.EK05/I515.EK02, running 4.0.2. The 4G/LTE rapidly connects/disconnects, but the CDMA is quite solid. No 4.0.4 yet, but am hoping that may fix the rapid cycling of the 4G/LTE .

Can anyone who has already gotten the update OTA verify if the Hotspot "bug" still works where you can use the hotspot feature without paying Verizon for it by using a widget to start it?

Verified. Good to go.

How are Verizon releasing this? I see people listing their location, and at the same time, I see people saying that's irrelevant. Does anyone positively know how it's pushed?

Still nothing. Can anybody confirm that you get the update with the stock romantic with stock radios but rooted and unlocked?

I dont know how it is handled, but I do know location has nothing to do with it. Back in the day with my OG Droid, my wife and I bought ours from the same store, on the same day, and I got the OTA Froyo update almost a day and a half before she did.

So I no longer have a verizonwireless plan and have a Galaxy Nexus want to know if OTA update can get update by Wifi network with out having a plan on the phone have my old simcard in the phone. my son used the phone like a ipod to play game and chat to his friend so on

Nothing in L.A. and my brother doesn't have anything in columbia md im pissed first day i bought this phone all i want is a update its like crack i just need my fix!!

Nothing in St.Louis, MO

I called the verizon rep about the update weds, said the update is being released by the phone MEID or IMEI, i forget which one, which ever one that is the phone's identity number.

Also the rep said it could take up to 3 weeks to receive this update and it is being released in small batches, wouldn't specify how small, but with millions of Gnex's its going to be long for quite a few people.

Nothing in Central NJ. >.<

Kinda miss the simplicity of updating my DroidX through the official update.zip. Then again, somewhere along the line my DX evolved into a huge, worthless pile of dung that refused to install apps 85% of the time, so there's that...

Surely someone's figured out how they determine the OTA push order by now...

It's released by serial number, and according to Verizon it's going to be rolled out slowly. It started on May 30, and after 10 days you will be able to manually pull it if it's not pushed to you already. So June 9 will be a busy day for everyone who haven't received it by then.
