4.1.83 Out?

Have you guys just been checking the ota on your phone and not the Motorola website?

Try going to the Motorola website, click support, then software update and select the atrix. Download the update flasher program then try through there. That's how I got mine.

Last night I kept trying the ota on the phone and kept getting the message that my phone was current, then tried this rout and got my update right away, though I couldn't install it until this morning because I was low on battery.

I tried that, but it said my phone was up to date.

I'm not sure if I already installed it or not because I just updated my phone yesterday. I just bought the Atrix yesterday too. How do I check to see if it's already installed?

go to settings then about phone. The update is version 4.1.83 and Android version 2.2.2.

No, it says 4.1.57 and 2.2.1. I tried the "Look for Updates" and tried the manual install, but still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Huh, that's exactly what I did only it wasable to find the update. Run maybe it was because my imei was in que or something. Sorry it don't help.

its cool man , its not your fault lol i might as well flash the 1.83 sbf again with the way moto or att is moving , by any chance would you know if the leaked 1.83 sbf is the same update everyone is waiting for? i know it enables hsupa and changes android version to 2.2.2 but does it include everything else ?

do you know how to root your phone? because rooting and flashing the 1.83 sbf will get you your update now bro. its really easy and would only take you about 20 minutes altogether . i myself just reflashed the 1.83 sbf coming from stock 1.57, because i was tired of waiting for att to push the update. ill probably flash stock again tomorrow and check again, but if its not there ill just keep the leaked version.

Yes. Bandwidth and latency still leaves a lot to be desired. I posted a bunch of speed tests earlier.
