4.3 OTA

Has anyone else been able to get the OTA today? I am stock rooted and have been checking all day to get the OTA but nothing showing up yet and I do not want to have to flash pr update via fastboot as that will wipe my device.

Haven't gotten mine yet either. Been trying some of the tricks to get it and they aren't working either. I'll just have to be patient and wait..... I hate waiting....

I already downloaded the stock 4.3 image from Google. If by tomorrow morning when I wake up the OTA is a no show, I will flash the factory image using ADB and see if I can do it without wiping all the data.

If not, I'll wipe it. I've never done it since I bought it last September but maybe it's time...

You can risk doing that with the factory image (don't flash or erase userdata while following the procedure) but it is risky and more than likely will cause issues. Factory Images are not meant to be flashed without a complete device wipe.

I understand pushing it out in phases, but the fact that nobody on this forum has claimed to receive the OTA makes me think it hasn't started rolling out yet for the N7.

Waiting as well. I wonder what other Nexus devices have already received the update if any. I think I read somewhere that Nexus 4 users have already received theirs. Come on, Google!!!

No.. sideloading the OTA update file should treat it just like you received the OTA. (emphasis on the SHOULD.. there's always unexpected things that could happen).

Fastboot flashing the Factory Image, on the other hand, will wipe everything.
