4.3 surpise

I'm not trying to start a you should root and install a custom ROM debate, but I'm a little shocked that the GS4 is getting Android 4.3 before the GNex. Even though Verizon is slow to push out updates, I always took solace in the fact that I still received the updates before any other phones on VZW.

Now I'm wondering in we'll ever see an official 4.3 from Verizon.

Some bloggers have theorized that Verizon might simply skip 4.3 (like they did by skipping 4.1.2, 4.2.0 and 4.2.1) and go straight to 4.4 Kitkat.

Google just confirmed the GNex will not get 4.4 at all, so there goes that theory.
