4.3 Update for Sprint Galaxy S3 has Arrived

I got the 4.3 update this morning. Its a little snappier than 4.1,some widgets are gone. The Samsung email app is much improved and the calendar is different. Haven't really had a chance to play with it yet just wanted to share thay its coming.

Do you have the SDK tools? If so run a logcat

Put this in a batch file or run it from adb shell:

adb logcat -d -f /sdcard/logcat.txt *:V

it should in the root of sdcard. search it for http and see if you can find the url for the update file...

Yay! It's released. Sprint sure doesn't give much information on there website on what is released in the update. I hope someone is able to get the zip file up soon so that I can side load it. It seems like I can always get this done faster then waiting for Sprint to push it out to me...

Got the update. First problem encountered is with the stock music player. It force closes when trying to load into the Playlist tab. Haven't experienced any other issues, though.

Anyone know why Sprint's web site says the update is MK3 and everyone else, including Samsung's website is saying it's MJ9? Just no one update any of there web site's I assume, because I know that was a previous release version from Sprint.

Going out on a limb here, but I believe MJ9 is the 9th build in October (10th month of the year, J being the 10th letter in the English language alphabet). Therefore, MK3 would be the 3rd build in the month of November (11th month, K being the 11th letter in the alphabet). Perhaps Sprint is building on MJ9 which Samsung would have released in October, adding their own stuff to it?
