45 Watt chargers.

That doesn't even plug into the USB Type C line, it won't show what power is being sent to the phone, it wil only show what power is being used by the power supply at the outlet! What is needed is an in-line meter which has the capacity to measure > 45W.... All the cheapie ones out there (I returned all mine to Amazon) seem to only handle up to ~35W.... ?

Yes, a little power will be consumed by the charger itself, but you can still use that meter to tell what is being used. You just have to do a little extra work on your part making conversions.
 
45 Watt gives you 10% faster charging. Not worth $50, I wouldn't pay $50 for it. I paid $25 for mine, it was what I used some of my $150 gift certificate for. Anyone else wanting to pay full price for it, I wouldn't suggest it.

If you have to buy a house charger anyway, then you have to decide if it's worth extra $15. I wouldn't buy it just because it's 45 Watt charger, only reason I did is because I had $25 left to use of that $150 that was use it or lose it deal.

Yeah Flossy Carter has a video up show the 10% you mentioned. Not worth it. I'm more than satisfied with the 25W charger that came with the 10+.

Well I think its worth it if you get it for free , I got 2 fro free from Samsung , love getting that 75 % from 30 min charge

I went from 6% to 50% in 17 minutes. It's times like this where that 45 Watt charger comes to play.

I'm like you though, I don't think I would buy it full price from the reviews out there. If you needed to buy a home charger anyway, I would probably pay the extra $15 to upgrade from the 25 Watt charger.
 
I received my 45 charger yesterday, that was on back order. You can tell I'm excited about it, haven't opened the box. Lol
I don't think I'll even use it. I'm happy with the 25 and wireless chargers. Plus I have fast chargers that I had with my s8+, that charge fine.
 
I have the 45w on order simply because I want one now that I already shelled out so much on the phone.
There's an aftermarket one out now on ebay for 20 quid so I ordered one of those as well to see if it works, if nothing else it has a 1.7m cable so even at 25w it would be good
 
I ordered a 45w charger from Samsung back on August 29th along with the yellow galaxy buds with the $150 voucher. The 45w charger was on backorder and I got it this past friday. Dang that thing is big lol. I think the only time I'll use it is if my phone gets really low. But other than that I'm good with the 25w charger. It's definitely worth it being free lol. Wouldn't buy it tho.

Someone mentioned that the charger is so big you could rest the Note on it while charging. I agree free is worth it:)
 
I got this charger for $33 bucks when I had my 30% off coupon from samsung. It is very fast charging the phone. I was around 50% and I went to take a shower and came back and it was full. I was really surprised.
